Rina Sawayama – “Enter Sandman” from The Metallica Blacklist

Here at Future-Rocker headquarters, we're still digesting the enormous Metallica covers album The Blacklist, released to coincide with the thirtieth anniversary of the 'Black Album'. Despite celebrating what is now rightly regarded as a milestone in Classic Rock, this superb cover version of the original album's lead single, by British-Japanese singer Rina Sawayama, is a definite example of 'Future Rock'.

BLUTENGEL - TWO VIDEOS FROM NEW ALBUM ERLÖSUNG - THE VICTORY OF LIGHT

Blutengel - Wir Sind Das Licht (Official Music Video)

Blutengel - Darkness Awaits Us (Official Music Video)

Within Temptation - Shed My Skin (feat. Annisokay) - Official Music Video

We've been fans of Dutch Gothic Metallers WITHIN TEMPTATION from as far back as their Doom Metal debut 'Enter' when Shazzer was just the backing singer. This new single sounds like a return to Sharon's classic WT debut 'Mother Earth'.

BREAKING NEWS: RUN LOLA RUN to get BOLLYWOOD REMAKE

No trailer yet, but Tom Tykwer's romantic heist thriller, Run Lola Run ( Lola Rennt ) is about to be remade in the Bollywood style, directed by Aakash Bhatia, and starring Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin reprising the roles that put Franka Potente and Moritz Bleibtreu on the cinematic map.

Released in 1998, and propelled by a pulsating techno soundtrack ( with vocals by Potente ), Lola was a thrilling example in experimental film-making, and at the time caused a sensation on the indie circuit, gaining many crossover fans. A Bollywood remake not only sounds entirely appropriate, but is a mouthwatering prospect if they really go for it on the soundtrack.
